THE 2026 CALENDAR ZINE is a 13-month decolonized-calendar-meets-photo-zine that refocuses its dates of importance to underrepresented communities in the format of a spiral-bound photo zine. Part calendar for time, part zine for manifesting vision, each edition is carefully researched, providing imagery that poetically corrects course & checks the pulse of each month’s significance. In a world that continues to test us, the making of this work is anchored by a Ralph Waldo Emerson quote that reads: “Select and collect all the words and sentences that in all your readings have been to you like the blast of a trumpet.”

• Paper: 350gr Luster (130lb) - thick enough to become wall prints you can put up at the end of the year.

• Text: Personal writing in English + non-gendered Spanish.

• Images: All original photographs in portrait, editorial, documentary, and collage.

• Sound: Via a QR code on each page, I’ve hand-picked a song for each spread to immerse you in a sweet audiovisual moment every month.

• Production: A completely self-published + produced personal project that is printed locally here in Barcelona. This will be the 6th edition.

• How do you hang it? Easy! With a small binder clip across the top of the page and onto a hook. See last image for example.

• Community: The Calendar Zine has reached a global community of supporters that spans 65 cities across 7 countries. In the last two years, thanks to your support, the project has been able to donate $1,000 to various initiatives including: SWOP Behind Bars, The Sameer Project and Gaza Mutual Aid Solidarity.
